ESL Book Review-Zero Prep-Ready-to-go activities for foreign ...

Ok, it's a cliche to say that a book changed your life, but this book has changed my. Cut my preparation time to minutes. With the activities in this book, I learned to teach for two hours, with only half a page of notes.

The authors do not say do not plan on speaking teachers. You tell them, not over-prepare: Ingredients dictation and comprehension questions, vocabulary preview in the readings. In preparation, the teacher can alsobusy and too tired to perform well in class.

Read this book and not fall into the trap again. Instead, you get your ads in the activity of listening to do. The granting of a class of beginners reluctant to speak not with Tell It Like It. Use any set of instructions to create an acting out Dictacomp ? combines an activity, the TPR with the letter and also promotes cooperation. Doing the unthinkable and make the sentence structure of a source of entertainment with a contraction of the phraseand expansion. I did all that and so can you.

The book is divided into chapters, icebreakers, listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary and structure (grammar). Each chapter contains instructions for six to 22 low-preparation activities. Indexes group routine tasks (brainstorming, chain-blank, etc.) and use (class cohesion, preview, review, billing). Although most activities have progressed to advanced students, there is about 30 forBeginners, and many others are adapted for them. (The authors of a book for beginners classes have published.)

So they stop to be retrieved until late into the night before the class worksheets and vocabulary circle. As the cover copy says: "If the teachers to teach less, learn more, students!"
